Thousand islands Regency Holds Virtual Prayer Together

The Thousand Islands Regency held a prayer together with nationality and humanity virtually, Wednesday (5/20). It was followed by SKPD, UKPD, religious figures, communities, DPRD members, Jakarta MUI and Thousand Islands DMI.

Thousand Islands Regent Husein Murad hoped that citizens could be patient and follow the PSBB rules set by the government until June 4 and follow the Ulema fatwa advices to conduct worship at home.

"Hopefully by being patient, this COVID-19 outbreak can be resolved soon," he expressed.

In the meantime, Jakarta MUI Chairman KH Munahar Muchtar, again reminded all Muslims to keep worshiping at home in the current emergency conditions.

"Thus we are all safe, especially to all Muslims. That's why we must avoid conducting worship activities in large congregations at mosques due to the pandemic," he stated.
